Today was all about my new TV. After working out I came home and got to work... first I had to move my very large and old big screen TV but this isn't one of those super thin ones like my new TV. I tried to get my buddy Will to come help me but he was busy at the moment but could come later in the day. I figured I could wait but I was wrong.. about a half hour later I manhandled that TV to the ground.
Next I realized that my TV stand wouldn't work for this new TV because the TV legs/bases are towards the end of the TV and my stand has this tiny top shelf that the base couldn't sit on. So I had to remove/tear down this top tier to my TV stand. Once that was done I once again put my NerdStrong workouts to use and lifted my new TV onto the stand.
I spent a good half hour turning on the TV and programming it.. as I mentioned before it's a smart TV so it takes a bit of programming to get it up and running. I'm super excited that this TV has three HDMI ports so I could hook up my Tivo, Apple TV and Blu-ray player.
Once everything was up and running I had to decide on what I was going to watch first but there was really only one choice... Star Trek The Next Generation. So I accessed Netflix and continued with my rewatch.
That was it for me.. this is how I was going to spend the rest of my day.. and it was glorious. Well until my buddy Will came over to help me move my old TV to the curb for pick up.. we then we hung out for an hour or so.. but as soon as he left it was back to TNG for the rest of the night :)

The Adventures Of Buying A New TV
Today after work I went to Fry's Electronic and got me a new TV.. of course nothing is that simple so here's the backstory.
I've always enjoyed having a big screen TV but the past year and a half I have been without one as my current 60" died for some reason and it would cost me $300 just to have someone come out to look at it. So I've been checking out TV prices the past few months. I get these "promo code" Ad emails from Fry's on a daily bases. With these promo codes you can get additional discounts on things.. like TV's. On Monday of this week I got an ad and saw the perfect TV. It was 4k LED Ultra HD 65" screen Smart TV with webOS 2.0 and the price was originally $1299 but on sale for $999 but with the "promo code" you could get another $100 dollars off making it $899. But in order to get the extra $100 off you have to purchase the TV in house and not online. Okay that wouldn't be a problem so I searched my local Fry's... and they were sold out, I then search for the nearest story with this TV and it was either San Diego or Las Vegas and this promo code was only good for two days. So I wasn't going to be able to get this TV.. I was heart broken. Come Wednesday I found a 60' Regular HD TV with no bells or whistles, originally $899 and sale for $699 but you could get an additional $100 off making it only $599. $600 dollars for a 60" HDTV isn't bad so I purchased it online. And when you purchase it all they do is hold it for you so you don't actual pay for it until you pick it up. After I held the TV I noticed in small print that you had to pick up the TV by stores closing time that day to get the additional discount. Well work was particularly bad and I didn't get out until after the store had closed. I took this as s sign that this TV wasn't for me. It wasn't what I wanted and I was just settling.
Now this morning I get another ad from Fry's and see the original TV back up for sale so I quickly jump online and check my local store (in Burbank) and sure enough they have them in stock. I immediately put one on hold. Now it's crucial that I get off work before the store closes. Luckily I got out of work by 7pm and headed over to Fry's. I wanted to see the TV before I purchased it but couldn't find it one the floor. So I took a chance and went to pay for it. The person rung me up and all seemed fine but then a few minutes pass and she comes back and asks if I held another TV. I said I did but couldn't get here in time to pick up for the discount. She asked if I wanted it. I said no I want the one I just paid for. She left again, returned empty handed and started to call over people. This is were panic set in.. all I could think was that they were really out of stock and this was a computer glitch.. I wasn't going to get my dream TV today. In actuality they didn't bring the TV to the front holding area. One of the sale guy has to go to the back and pick it up.
So in the end I got my dream TV - LED 65" Ultra HD with all the bells and whistles. Now I have to get it into my car. Luckily I ran into one of my NerdStrong coaches at Fry's Coach David. He helped me get it to my car and then pushed down my seats and tilted it in. I had to push my front seats all the way forward and then take a shoe lace off of one of my boots that I just so happen to have in my trunk so I could tie doe the hatchback. It was a pretty funny site as I could barely sit in the front seat to drive. I didn't have far to go so that was good but it was an interesting drive home.
Once I was home I had to figure out how I was going to get this up two flights of stairs and into my apartment as I couldn't leave it in my car overnight. I put a request out there on social media but unfortunately no one was around to help. So I put all my NerdStrong training to practice and heaved the box onto my back (the box was bigger then me) and made my way slowly up the first set of stairs. These new TV's aren't heavy they are just large and difficult to carry but I'm happy to say that I made it up to my apartment with no issues. I was done for the day so I'll unbox it tomorrow and get it all set up then... I can't wait!!!

NerdStrong Gym - My Weekly Recap
Got my five days of workout in this week. Started with taking on the Big Boss Monster for Saturdays workout. It was a 42 minute EMOM (Every Minute on the Minute), we had to do 40x Jumping Jacks, 6x Burpees, 10x Headcutters, 15x Slamballs, 20x Kettlebell Swings and then a rest. This was a total of 7 times and it was rough.
For Sunday's TEAM workout it was a old favorite of mine.. The Royal Flush Gang. Coaches use a real deck of cards and every suit represents a workout - Diamonds = Goblet Squats, Clubs = Sit Ups, Hearts Russian Twists and Spades = Burpees. And the number is how many times we do it, with Jacks as 11, Queens as 12, Kings as 13 and Aces are a wonder 1. It's one of my favorite themed workouts.
Tuesday's DEX workout was titled "All the Weapons" the main workout consisted of 5 rounds, 1 minute of work then 1 minute of rest between rounds. So actually it meant we did five minutes of work and then a minute rest. Each round consisted of Forward Steel Mace Switch Lunge, Sandbag Clean to Press, Hollow Hold, Steel Club Swing (switch at :30 seconds) and then Push Ups. As a finisher we did Death by 10 Meters, this is when you sprint 10 meters within a certain amount of time and you continue to do it until you can finish within the time limit.. that's usually 13 or 14 times for me.
Wednesday's CON was not how I wanted to spend my 1 year Nerdaversary but then again it really showed me how far I have come in that one year. We had to do a 2000 meter row and then a 1 miles run (that's 8 times around the parking lot). I opted to do the run first as I am not a fan of rowing and I knew it was going to be tough for me. I'm happy to say that ran that mile in 10:21 besting my previous attempt of 11:51. I cut an whole minute and a half off my time which I was extremely happy with. My next goal is to get it under 10 minutes. As for my row I wasn't so lucky. My previous 2000 meter row record was 8:46 and this time around it was 9:37. But I can say that the last time I got the 8:46 that was all we did, I didn't run a mile just beforehand so this one was a bit skewed, but with that said I extremely happy with both of my results. And hopefully next time we do this I'll improve upon those numbers.
Thursday STG day is a hit and miss for me. I don't usually like barbell workout.. but today we did my favorite two barbell workouts.. Back Squats and Bench Presses. I think they are my favorite because I can do them fairly well. And if I'm honest I don't mind the majority of the barbell workouts.. I think my least favorite are the Cleans and that's because I just cant figure it out. But as I said.. today was a good strength day. And the class was small which can be nice at time. Today's class was filled with some of my favorite gym people.. it was some good times.

Join StarFleet Academy
Have you ever wanted to join Starfleet Academy? I know I have.. well it's actually a reality. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Star Trek, this summer at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City they will be hosting Star Trek: The Starfleet Academy Experience, an interactive, fun-filled and educational exhibition that will immerse visitors in the Star Trek universe. Cadets will attend the Academy’s Career Day (in the 26th century!!) and, after student orientation, visit nine zones focused on the training center’s specialties: Language, Medical, Navigation, Engineering, Command and Science. Cadets then will be assigned a specialty and a demeanor based on their individual training.
How awesome does that sound? You can check out the official page HERE. It's bit out of date and there isn't much about where they will be touring in North America.. but hopefully they will stop by somewhere close to Los Angeles. But if you're in the New York City area here is the article about the tour coming to Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum this summer.

Supergirl / Flash Crossover
There have been rumors but it's been confirmed that The Flash/Barry Allen will be making an appearance on Supergirl. Everyone kind of expected this since they are produced by the same company and though they air on different TV stations The Flash on CW and Supergirl on CBS, those two networks are owned by the same company. I think it's a great idea doing a crossover. Hopefully it will get more people to watch Supergirl and vice versa with The Flash. What's great is that this also means Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow are also in this larger universe. Of course with the Flash able to move between Earths (Multiverse) Supergirl might be in a different verse so she may never crossover with the others. Guess will just have to wait and see when the episode airs.. which is suppose to happen on March 28th. Can't wait to see these two superheros come face to face.
One Year At NerdStrong Gym
Today marks my one year Nerd-aversary at NerdStrong Gym. One year ago today I walked into this gym for my one on one intro class with Coach Andrew. I didn't know what to expect other then my buddy Andrew Seely loved this place and actually became a coach.
I never imagined that I would find a gym that I would love as much as I love NerdStrong. I get up every morning at 6am and the first thought in my head is "let's do this, it's gym time". I have done 287 workouts (days) this past year. I don't think I've done 287 workouts in the total of my entire gym life. It boggles my mind that I can honestly say that I love going to the gym.
But NerdStrong is so much more then a gym, it's a community of like minded people who are trying to better themselves through fun, entertaining workouts. Working out day after day is hard but when you have amazing coaches, fun & entertaining workouts and a support system second to none you can't help but succeed. And I'm happy to say that I have succeeded. I may not have lost as much weight as I would have liked this past year but that's not the fault of the gym, it's my consistent struggle with my eating habits.
And speaking of the community, There are so many amazing people here that I probably wouldn't met otherwise. They are caring, loving and uber geeky. Some of these people will be part of my life for the rest the rest of my life. These are the kind of friends you want to hang out with outside the gym. We go dancing, hiking and visit museums. We also enjoy karaoke, play "sportsball" and are currently planning a weekend camping trip... these people are the best.
And lets not forget the coaches.. Thank you Coach Andrew, Coach Marla, Coach Kimi, Coach Blair, Coach David, Coach Christy and Coach Corrin. You are all amazing in your own unique way. I love working out with each one of you as you all have your different styles of training as well as music. I learn from each and every one of you and I will always be so thankful.
I want to give a special Thank you to Coach Seely. I would have never found NerdStrong if it wasn't for him. He also spear headed a "Let's Fund Kenny's first three months at NerdStrong" with my friends. If it wasn't for Andrew I wouldn't have improved my overall health, found my love of fitness (which I will have the rest of my life) or have met so many amazing people who have not become some great friends.
I am proud to be NERDSTRONG!!!

Marvel's Agent Carter S2 Ep 4 - My Thoughts
Today is Tuesday and that means Marvel's Agent Carter. It's one of the few TV shows that I like to watch live as I can't wait to see it. Tonight we got S2 Ep 4 "Smoke & Mirrors" In the 1920s in Broxton, Oklahoma,
Agnes Cully (Frost) is shown to have a brilliant mind, fixing a broken
radio, inventing devices, and applying to a science program at Oklahoma University
(unsuccessfully due to her gender). In 1934, Cully travels to
Hollywood, where she is approached by a talent agent, promising to make
her a star. In 1940 in England, Carter, who is engaged, receives an
offer to join the Special Operations Executive due to her work at Bletchley Park as a code breaker;
she eventually accepts the offer and leaves her fiancé after her
brother's death in the war. In 1947, Carter and Jarvis kidnap Hunt in an
attempt to learn more about the Council. After getting names of members
of the Council and locations of transcripts of their meetings, Carter
and Sousa prepare the SSR to infiltrate the Arena Club, but are stopped
by Masters. They let a bugged Hunt escape, and he attempts to blackmail
Chadwick in exchange for protection. Displeased with the mess he was
causing, Frost absorbs Hunt, revealing her abilities to Chadwick.
We get a Peggy Carter origin story with this episode. We find out that Peggy was planning to get married and not really living up to her full potential. That is until her brother intervenes and submits her name for the SOE. But she is doing what is "right" for women in the 40's, getting married and starting a family. But of course we know that doesn't happen and it's extremely sad at what happens that makes her change her mind (though I knew it was coming, but none-the-less sad). Her brothers death, whom she was extremely close with, is what makes her the Peggy we all love. It's crazy to imagine her life any other way from what it is so it was interesting to see that she almost wound up a housewife.
The other story was the origin story of the "big bad" Frost, she wasn't so fortunate with her upbringing, being raised by an unfit single mother and her genius not being encouraged, instead her mother teaches that the only thing that she needs to worry about is her looks, those can get her everything she wants. Of course she uses her mother's "wise" words when she comes to Hollywood and snags an agent. She had a sad life and it makes sense why she turned out the way she did. It's always difficult to hate the "bad guys" when they reveal a bit of their past.
Lot's a good stuff in the episode, Peggy and Sousa seem to be making progress in their investigation until Masters shows up.. he's such a douche bag, hope we see something happen to him soon. But my favorite parts of tonight's episode and every episode of Agent Carter is seeing Carter and Jarvis interact. I've said it before and I'll say it again.. these two character and actors have such great chemistry. I love that there is no hint of attraction between the two. They love each other but not in a romantic way. You could say that Jarvis has taken the role of her death brother.
Can't wait for the next episode which will bring us half way through this second season.

SDCC Badge, Star Trek Concert & Galavant S2 Finale
So I got to work early so I could sign in to the San Diego Comic Con website and enter the waiting room. Today Professionals could get their badge. If you were lucky enough you could also get a "free" badge for a guest and buy an additional badge for full price (now $250). 10am came and the blue wheel of death started to spin. Five minutes pass and nothing, ten minutes pass and nothing.. now I'm starting to worry. If my track record held I'd only get my pass and not a free guest pass. Now fifteen minutes has passed and I'm still sitting in the waiting room watching the blue wheel spin. About minute 18 the page changed and I was able to sign in and see what was left and to my surprise I was able to not only get my free badge but also a free guest badge and I was able to purchase a badge.. so in the end I got the max amount of three. Maybe my luck is changing with these things.. next up is Hotel Lottery.. fingers crossed.

The concert will feature some of the greatest music written for the franchise including favorites from Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Star Trek: Insurrection, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and much more.
I'll being going to the Hollywood Pantages Theatre on April 2nd at 8pm with my buddy Adam and enjoying this one of a kind experience. I couldn't imagine going with a better person as Adam is just as much a Star Trek fan as I am. We're going to have an amazing time!! Seats are still available if you want to join in the fun.
In the evening I watched the last two episodes of Galavant. First up was S2 Ep 9 "Battle of the Three Armies" The armies of Valencia, Hortensia, and Galavant's zombie army clash, right on top of Chef and Gwynne's hovel. Gareth, angry at Madelena's use of the dark arts, defects and makes peace with Richard. Galavant and Isabella reunite on the battlefield and plan to marry if they survive. Wormwood uses his magic to turn the zombies against everyone. The heroes retreat into the castle. Madelena tries to persuade Gareth to leave with her. When he refuses, she releases the undead army.
First of all I love the title which is a nod to The Hobbit. As always I enjoyed the songs, it was funny to see Chef and Gwynne living in a shack right in the middle of where the three armies were to merge. Lots of fighting in this episode. I like that Gareth turned to the good side and rekindled his friendship with Richard.
Then the final episode S2 Ep 10 "The One True King (To Unite Them All)" Richard reflects on his unhappy childhood. Sid returns with an army of minor characters from season two, turning the tide of the battle. Isabella and Madelena fight face to face, with Isabella victorious. Richard faces Wormwood who seems to kill the lizard Richard believes is a dragon. Enraged, Richard strikes down Wormwood. Richard's magical sword reveals him to be the true king of the Seven Realms. Gareth tries to make up with Madelena, but she has tasted the ultimate power and wants more; she magically vanishes. Richard catches up with Roberta before she leaves. Galavant and Isabella marry in a ceremony performed by the Singing Monks (led by "Weird Al" Yankovic) and settle down by the sea. Chef and Gwynne rebuild their house. Gareth invites Sid on a quest to bring back Madelena. Madelena arrives at a spooky castle to meet with the Dark Evil Lord. Richard, who has settled down with Roberta, feeds his former lizard who has grown into a real dragon.
The final episode starts with a flashback for Richard as a kid with Gareth being his right hand then as well.. it was cute. Then the story continues right were episode nine left off, as the bigger battle continues small one on one battles happen between the main characters. Isabella and Madelena fight was fun and then you had Richard and Wormwood, Richard really comes into his own after he thinks that Wormwood killed his "dragon" Tad Cooper. Madelena is pure evil and like the way the ended her character. I like that Richard goes to Roberta and confesses his love for her. It was great seeing Galavant and Isabella marry. And a new duo is formed with Gareth and Sid start their quest to get Madelena back. And of course the finale scene is probably my favorite. Richard going out to feed Tad Cooper and sure enough Tad Cooper is actually a dragon and Richard says he final line.. "I have a Dragon".
I didn't think it was possible but season two exceeded season one. Better stories and song, though my favorite song/tune is the Galavant song in it's many incarnations. I hope their is a season three.. it didn't do to well in the ratings but season one didn't do that well either and ABC renewed it for a second season. So who knows.. but if this is the end I'm extremely happy with it. Tied a bow with the main characters and left a few strings hanging that they can follow in season three.
Picked up my ticket for Star Trek: The Ultimate Voyage: 50th Anniversary Concert Tour. What is this you ask... Star Trek: The Ultimate Voyage brings 50 years of Star Trek to concert halls for the first time ever. The Flash & Arrow Return And The Premiere Of Legends Of Tomorrow
DC TV returned this week so in the evening I sat down with my buddy Erik (via Skype) and we watched the return of Flash and Arrow and the 2 part of the two part premiere of Legends of Tomorrow
First up is Flash S2 Ep 10 "Potential Energy" As Dr. Wells struggles to try to find ways to increase Barry's speed, Cisco presents a new idea to slow Zoom down. Cisco tells the team about a metahuman, whom he has dubbed the "Turtle", who has the ability to stop the kinetic energy around him and thus slow everyone to a halt. After Barry fails to stop the Turtle at a diamond unveiling, the team sets a trap at a local art exhibit. Barry invites Patty with the intention of telling her his secret, but the Turtle is aware of the trap and almost succeeds in killing Patty before escaping. Later, the Turtle kidnaps Patty in an effort to punish the Flash. The team tracks down the Turtle and Barry is able to generate enough speed to move through the kinetic waves the Turtle creates to knock him unconscious and save Patty. Later, Patty tells Barry that she is leaving Central City and Dr. Wells kills the Turtle by extracting a portion of his brain matter. Meanwhile, Joe struggles to develop a relationship with Wally, who has been street racing in an attempt to earn enough money to pay for his mother's medical bills. Caitlin discovers that Jay is dying of an illness caused by Zoom stealing his speed.
This episode starts off with a shocker but soon you realize it's a dream. Barry's actions in this episode frustrated me to no end. The fact that he didn't tell Patty he was The Flash even after she figure out was ridiculous.. I know he said it was to protect her but he has many loved ones who know who he is and they aren't in danger every other minute.. I think Patty needed to know so she could protect herself. The whole Turtle character was cool but Barry being stupid keep made me not enjoy this episode as much as I should have. Flash can be amazing but Barry can't be extremely stupid sometimes.
Next up was Arrow S4 Ep 14 "Blood Debts" With Felicity in and out of surgery for her gunshot wounds, Oliver and the team continue searching for Darhk. Oliver turns to Captain Lance for information on Darhk's location, while Diggle interrogates his brother Andy. They track down Darhk's location, but find only several dead Ghost soldiers and an anarchy symbol painted in blood. The team realize that Lonnie Machin is back and out for revenge against Darhk. Machin is caught and Oliver interrogates him for information on Darhk. Eventually, Oliver sets Machin free to go after Darhk, tracking him in the process. Machin goes after Darhk's family; the team arrives and saves them, but Machin escapes. As payment for saving his family, Darhk grants Oliver time to spend with his own family before Darhk kills him. Meanwhile, Felicity is left paralyzed from being shot. In flashbacks, Conklin presents Oliver as a traitor and the maps he found as proof to Reiter. While Conklin tortures Oliver, Reiter notices the spell on Oliver's stomach and forces Conklin to stop. In exchange for another prisoner's life, Oliver agrees to help Reiter.
Let the frustration continue... I thought Barry was bad but he has nothing compared to Oliver. Oliver started to revert to the Oliver from last season and I very much disliked that Oliver. I was happy that Felicity didn't die. Overall the episode was fine but like with The Flash the stupidity of the main character makes it difficult for me to enjoy the rest of the show
And finally what I have been waiting for, Legends of Tomorrow S1 Ep 1 "Pilot, Part 1" In the year 2166, Vandal Savage has successfully conquered the entire planet. In an effort to save humanity, time-traveler Rip Hunter travels back to the year 2016 to assemble a group of superheroes and supervillains to team-up and stop Savage's rise to power: Ray Palmer, Sara Lance, Jefferson "Jax" Jackson and Dr. Martin Stein, Mick Rory, Leonard Snart, Carter Hall, and Kendra Saunders. With the team assembled, Hunter takes them to 1975 to talk to Professor Boardman, a leading expert on Vandal Savage, to get assistance in locating Savage. While providing information on Savage, Boardman also reveals that he is the son of Kendra and Carter from one of their past lives. Meanwhile, a time-traveling bounty hunter named Chronos attacks Hunter's ship, the Waverider. The team is able to regroup and escape, but not before Professor Boardman is wounded and dies. The attack forces Hunter to reveal that Chronos is after him for stealing the time-ship and going on the mission against the wishes of the Time Council and that part of his quest is based on his desire for revenge on Savage for murdering his wife and child in his time.
Okay.. now we are talking.. this was everything I was hoping for and more. Only downside is it was only the first hour of a 2 hour premiere. I loved that we meet Kendra and Carters son from a past life. The team up of various people were awesome. And of course the ending when we find out that Rip was lying and that everyone is not known as Legends in the future but the complete opposite.. removing them from the timeline doesn't effect anything in 100 years so they are disposable. But I like how the team bands together and decides that they will make their own destiny and become their own Legends.
Amazing special effects, loved the acting, the story, pretty much everything about this show. It was the perfect way to end my TV night. Can't wait for part two.

The Shannara Chronicles Ep 3 & 4 - My Thoughts
Lots of TV catching up today. Started with The Shannara Chronicles episodes 4 and 5. First up S1 Ep 4 "Fury" - As the Fury is chasing Wil and Amberle, an injured Allanon rises and
kills it. The trio head to the Druid Cave in order to treat Allanon.
After leaving him there, Wil and Amberle head to Silver River to grab
some of its mud, which has healing properties, but are ambushed by
Eretria and a Rover. They are taken as hostages to the Rover camp so
that Wil can teach Cephelo how to use the Elfstones. Wil is unable to do
so, and Cephelo threatens to kill Eretria. Then, another Fury attacks
the Rover camp but is destroyed by Wil, using the powers of the
Elfstones. Allanon is cured by the magic from the Druid Cave, and
rescues Wil and Amberle from the Rovers. On their way to Arborlon, they
find an elf named Bandon chained and left alone and they take him with
them. At Arborlon, Bandon has a vision of Amberle dying. The Elven
Council is reunited to discuss the crisis of the Ellcrys and decides to
let Amberle, the last of the Chosen, enter the tree and search for its
seed, which must be taken to Safehold.
This episode picks up right after episode two as the Fury is about to kill Wil and Aberle. Of course Allanon comes to their rescue but is mortally wounded. Still not a fan of Eretria but I can tell that they are trying to soften her up a bit. I know she's going to be a major player in this storyline so I'm trying to keep an open mind. I absolutely hate Cephelo and I can't wait for his demise.
Watching Wil rock the Elfstones as awesome. I like that they too have the adage, with magic comes a price. It makes since because if you could just do magic with no consequences then you would be unstoppable and everyone would do it. This actually limits the amount of magic one person can do.
We are introduced to a new character, Bandon. Don't know much about his all we know is he's extremely powerful, foresees Amberle's death and is super cute. I'm sure he's going to be a key player in this story. Every time I watch and episode of this series I can't wait for the next.. this is why binge watching is so appealing. But lucky for me I do have another episode to watch.. on to episode 4.
S1 Ep 4 "Changeling" - As Amberle enters the Ellcrys, is put to a test, and passes it, leading the tree to give her its seed. The group prepares to take it to Safehold, but realizes that the demon is still infiltrated. Amberle draws an image of a stained glass window which she saw on a vision inside the Ellcrys. After being threatened by her foster father, Eretria sneaks into the Elven Palace and seduces Wil into having sex with her, only to steal the Elfstones again. As she tries to escape the Palace, the demon disguises itself as her and attempts to kill Amberle but fails and the real Eretria is arrested for it. Bandon is revealed to be a seer. No one is able to find the demon, so they assume it must be a shapeshifting demon, and prepare a trap to catch it. Wil and Eretria realize that the demon was disguised as one of the guards and was aware of the plan. Wil runs to warn the Princess, but the Changeling gets there first and is killed by Allanon, who orders the guards to burn it and save its ashes. However, the demon comes back to life and kills the guards.
I really liked this episode. We see that Amberle can't let her interest in Wil interfere with her goal. How stupid is Wil to let Eretria seduce him again and still his elfstones again.. such a stupid character or typical man.. I don't know which. It's revealed that Bandon is a Seer, which we kind of knew. We also found out that the visions he sees are just a possible future and can be changed as he saved a girl from being killed.
We see Eretria's attitude changing slightly. As I said earlier I did not like this character in episodes one and two but they are slowly bringing her around. I was happy to see that that changling was killed but of course it resurrects at the end.. I'm sure will see more of it in future episodes.
This is only a 10 episode season and we are on episode 4 already and we haven't even started the quest. I don't know if they plan to complete the quest within these 10 episodes or if this will end unresolved hoping for a second season. I know there are tons of stories that they can tell and this is just one of many so I do hope they conclude this story at the end of this season and move on to another story for season two.. if that happens. Can't wait for next weeks episode and for them to finally start their quest.
