So what's going on in my life?
The house is still in the middle of remodeling; we are starting our 10th month of the remodel. We are getting closer, but as I've said in the past, two steps forward, one step back - that seems to be our game plan. But I am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.... kind of.
Packing continues at my place; I've been in a state of hurry and pack, and something happens, and I stop packing, then hurry and pack again and again.
I'm still looking for work; I haven't worked since the end of December. The series I was working on The Great American Baking Show, was unfortunately cancelled. I was hoping to start back up on the next season this past May. So I've been "kind of" looking for work. With this move happening / not happening, I didn't want to start a new show in the middle of moving... both are extremely stressful. But as our timetable for moving keeps getting pushed back and I'm using more and more of my savings, I realize I have to start looking for work regardless of when I'm going to move.
So I have been in touch with my previous executive producer, and he too is looking for work and requested my resume, so hopefully something will come along shortly. If anyone knows of a post-production supervisor position that needs filling, please let me know.
Brian and I are chugging along; we just had our eighth anniversary. Still waiting for him to put a ring on it. 🤣 But I think once we are settled into our new house, we can move forward on that front.
Anyways I hope to post more often this once a month, but I'll make sure to at least post once a month. I am currently making a post about San Diego Comic Con, which I attended last week... be on the lookout for that post.
