With Harry's help towards the end, our Home Gym in now open for business.. can't wait to get started tomorrow. I'm a little scared on how excited I am on working out again.. Anyone want to join me :)
Very nice :) I'm happy that you've gotten everything set up now. I've never been one to work out, but who knows I might start up sometime. Not so much cardio, but more on the weight training side. Congrats and stick to it. Blog about it for sure.
What the hell. I'll join ya! After being a competitive gymnast during my youth and grabbed my hubby, I gained a lot of weight and became an obsessed gamer. I became a vegetarian in January and have went from 247 to (as of this morning) 193 just from diet changes. No exercise other than "personal times". Hehe. I know that if I add exercise, I'll be down to my goal weight of 82 in NO TIME! (That gives me lots of room for binging.) Seriously, I've been looking for motivation and why the hell not take it when it's right in front of me! I don't have the elaborate machines, but I have a yoga ball, free weights and enough knowledge since I WAS an athlete (so no excuse). Thanks for the motivation! Maybe we could tweet progress or something if you have any ideas for people that might be joining you. Support systems rock. @dalestaines
Glad to see you got things up and ready. If I remember correctly, you actually did an aids ride or two in the past. So I am sure you familiar with workout techniques and training psycology. I always gain about ten to fifteen pound from October to New Years. This year, I still had it on me, In May, I started trying to cut out the sugary drinks. That alone made a diffrence. Now, I am working out at least every other day, if not every day. I am down this morning to 197, from 213. It is slow going, but it is going. Good luck, and keep up posted over on Face Book.
