Heroes is back!!!!
After a seven week haitus Heroes is back. I have been loving this series so I was very excited to finally see a new episode after seven weeks and it didn't disappoint. This series has something happening in every scene on screen. Unlike another favorite tv show that I really enjoy Lost, which leaves with you more questions then answers. Heroes has not fallen into that trap. Heroes has secrets but they tend to give more answers before asking more questions. I love this series.

Toy Room Clean Up
Well I spent this weekend cleaning/organizing my toy room. The past few months I have gotten a ton of new toys and have let my toy room fall apart. I just have too many toys to display. At the moment there are a ton of action figures on the floor, which I hate but unless I box the figures up they will have to sit on the floor for the time being. It took me two days but my toy room looks AWESOME again. I took video of it and when I'm done editing it I'll post it online for all to see.

Unexpected Work... and New Tires
But before I went into work I really needed to get new tires for my jeep. The front left one was going bald and I was afraid it would blow while driving. I've been wanting to do this for about a month but never seemed to have the time. So I decided that I would get new tires then go into work and get this footage uploaded for her. The tire thing took a bit longer then expected. I knew I only wanted to spend about $100.00 per tire and I did pretty good. Got some really good tires for $96 and after the install and taxes it was going to cost about $600.00. Five minutes after I left the tire place and started to walk home, since it was going to take several hours I got a call from the tire place telling me that my shocks are bad. This wasn't the first time I heard that so I figure I would get that done and they were running a deal if you buy three you get the fourth free.. So I did that and my final bill came too $998.96. I look at it this way... I have never replaced my tires or shocks so it was all for a good thing and boy do my new tires look great.
So now it's 6pm, Harry and I have dinner and we both go into work to get this thing done. Four hours latter it's done and we are at home relaxing on the couch watching the news. Not how I planned my Saturday but I did manage to get one thing marked off my list. Sometimes it's tough being the boss.

Life Updated
I bought Harry his I Mac for his birthday but since we upgraded the video card it had to be shipped and we couldn't get it from the Apple store. We were disappointed but Harry is very excited about his new Mac and I'm very happy that I can make my Harry happy.
Daisy is doing well, still hates dogs but she's getting better.
Still looking for a house to rent, still trying to figure out if my Dad will be living with us or not.
Harry's jeep is still dead, even though it's been taken to the Jeep dealer and they nothing is wrong. We just don't have the time to try and figure why it's not working. Will work on that problem this weekend.
Very excited about some upcoming movies, Spiderman III, Transformers and of course this July will be Harry Potter month with a new movie #5 and the final book #7 coming out within a week of each other, also for the month of July I'll be going to Comic Con.
All in all LIFE is moving along.

Harry's 36th Birthday
It's my favorite Austrian's 36th Birthday today. He's 36 years young and still as cute as ever. This morning I got up early and went to buy him some flowers, a dozen roses mixed with some summer flowers. I left them all arranged in a pretty vase on the dining table for him to see as soon as he came down stairs. I had to work but thought it would be nice to take him out of dinner after I got off. We were planning a trip to Outback Steak the following weekend for his Birthday Dinner with friends and family so we didn't want to do that again so he said how about Sizzler, we both really like Sizzler. So we ended up eating a late dinner at Sizzler, which was quite nice. All in all a quiet day for Harry's 36th Birthday. Oh BTW I am going to by Harry a new I Mac computer since he is tired of having his PC laptop.

The Holiday on DVD
I love romantic comedies so when I saw previews to this movie I wanted to see it but I never got a round to, so I rented it first thing when it came out on DVD last week. I finally got to watch it and I was not disappointed. It was a very cute and fun romantic comedy. It was like two romantic comedies in one. Both stories were fun and entertaining. If you're looking for a fun romantic comedy then this movie is for you. Here's a synopsis. Iris is in love with a man who is about to marry another woman. Across the globe, Amanda realizes the man she lives with has been unfaithful. Two women, who have never met and live 6000 miles apart, find themselves in the exact same place. They meet online at a home exchange website and impulsively switch homes for the holiday. Iris moves into Amanda's L.A. house in sunny California as Amanda arrives in the snow covered English countryside. Shortly after arriving at their destinations, both women find the last thing either wants or expects: a new romance. Amanda is charmed by Iris' handsome brother Graham and Iris, with inspiration provided by legendary screenwriter Arthur, mends her heart when she meets film composer Miles.

The Dog Walking Dance
Every morning of everyday I walk the dog first thing after getting up. We live in a neighborhood with quite a few dogs and Daisy being the way she is we try and avoid those dogs. Many of the people do they same so everytime we go out it's like a dance. You start down the sidewalk and if you see another dog walking in the opposite direction one of you will cross the street to avoid the conflict. Then another dog will come towards you so you cross the street again. It's a back and forth kind of thing. Sometimes you run into trouble when you see dogs coming from both directions and there really is no where to go. But for the most part people are well verse in this dance and will stop to allow you to get by them with incident.

AFV Taping
Today Harry and I went to a taping of America's Funniest Home Videos. They film out in Manhattan Beach and we had to be there at 10:30am for a 12:00pm taping. We got there and found where to park. Next we stood in line for about an hour or so. They finally tell us if we need to go to the bathroom we need to go now because they don't take breaks while shooting. So I go then Harry goes and we wait some more. Harry has to go again and while he is gone they come and take us to outside the stage. Now I began to panic because Harry is still in the bathroom. After what felt like hours, but actually only a few minutes one of the pages comes escorting Harry back to the line. We now stood in front of the stage for a while then they took us through a metal detector where Harry was stopped and it kept going off so he kept taking stuff out of his pockets but he was still beeping. Finally they let him go even though he still beeped. By this time we fell four people back from where we were in line. Then go back outside and stand in another line waiting to go in. We finally get in and they start to seat you. It doesn't matter where you are in line they place people where they want them. So if you are pretty or cute or dressed real nice you get place in front or on an aisle. We sat on the third row back over on the left side of the stage. We had pretty good seats but I noticed that the people who took our spots when Harry got stuck at the metal detector were sitting in the second row next to the aisle and in a prefect spot to be on TV. Oh well.. nothing you can really do. We enjoyed the show. It was fun to see how they put it all together. Both Harry and I voted for the same video but it came in third. All in all a fun day.. a lot of waiting and standing but in the end it was fun.

4 Year Anniversary
Well it was four years today that I got an email response to my personal ad on Yahoo that started with, Hello Kelly. And now four years later we are as happy as can be. Of course we have had our ups and downs but most of them dealt with immagration issues, but personally Harry and I are having a great time together. Here's to a long and happy life together. I LOVE YOU

Got a Job... Finally
Finally after two and a half months of being off... I just got a new job. I'll be Post Production Supervisor on a new TV series called "First Class all the Way" it's for the Bravo network. Don't have a clue what it's about.. i'm just glad for the work. Yay me!!!!!!! I start March 19th and it runs till the end of July..
Getting Married.. Well Sort Of.
Well this March 11th marks the anniversary of when Harry answered my personal ad on Yahoo. Harry and I have been together for four years. We know we will be together for the rest of our lives so we decided that we want to make it official.. at least in our hearts. Next year will be our five year anniversary and we thought it would be a perfect time to have a Commitment Ceremony. We are still in the early planning stages, but right now it looks like it will happen in July or August 08. More details to come.
Paramount Ranch

Today Harry, Daisy and I went to Paramount Ranch. For those who don't know what this is. It is an old studio lot where they filmed quite a few westerns, as well as Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. They still film here and there but its more of a area that you can go hiking, have a picnic, walk around the remaining Western Town. It's a lot of fun. The other good thing about this place is that it allows dogs. Most State Parks won't allow dogs so it's great to have this place were we could go hiking with Daisy. Today we hiked for about an hour and a half. It was alot of fun, but of course I took a tumble down a hill and scraped up my arm and leg but all in all a fun time.

Best Buy One More Time
So we took Harry's jeep in to have the radio hooked back up. We haven't had the best experience with these people and it continued. After they installed the radio and then uninstalled the radio they failed to mention that the antenna was broken, which explains why we couldn't get AM and the FM was a hit and miss. But this time we had a much better tech guy and much cuter guy working on the jeep. He said he could replace the antenna for five bucks and all would be well. I was happy to finally get some good news. When he was done he told me he wasn't going to charge me because they didn't have the antenna needed but had an extra one lying around so he used that one. So now the radio and antenna are working great and after a year of no radio Harry finally has his radio. And to top it off our cute Best Buy Tech had a stutter, which made him even more adorable.

Bella's Baptism
Our friends Jack and Tara recently had a beautiful baby girl. Today was her Baptism. I had never gone to a baptism so I was looking forward to it. There were about six or seven other children being baptized at the same time. It lasted about an hour then we went to one of Jack and Tara's favorite Italian restaurant called Cavi to celebrate. This was your typical Italian feast, it lasted about five hours and there were many courses. All in all a fun night.

Sarah Jane Adventures
I'm a big Doctor Who fan and I finally got to see the spin off series The Sarah Jane Adventures. Sarah Jane Smith was a companion of the older Doctor Who series and made a guest appearance in the second season of the new Doctor Who series. Her appearance was very well recieved so the decided to do a spin off series for her. It premired in England on Jan 1st but I wasn't able to get it till recently and we watched on our TV night. I really enjoyed it. I think it had the same feel as the Doctor Who series. Of course Sarah Jane had some advance tech. stuff which some of the people who watched it with me didn't really like but it didn't really bother me. This series is geared towards children and you could tell but I'll watch it when it comes out in April.

Lost is back

After three months of being off the air.. Lost is finally back and I'm so excited. This is the third season and I know some folks are getting tired of the constant questions and very few answers but I still enjoy it and hope they will have some big payoffs coming up. The first six episodes of the season dealt with Kate, Sawyer, Jack and the Others but they are about to get back to the beach with the other surviviors. I miss the other survivors. None stop Lost till the summer... can't wait!!!!

Magic Mountain
Harry and I are both very avid roller coaster enthusiast. Since Harry has been here we have gone to Magic Mountains many times a year. We had season passes. But since we got Daisy we weren't able to leave her in the apartment alone. But after a year and a half Daisy is doing better staying home alone for about seven to eight hours so now we can get back to our Magic Mountain adventures. So we got 2007 season passes and today was the first day this year we were able to go. We had a great time. It was Super Bowl Sunday so the park was really slow. We did X, Viper, Tatsui, DejaVu, Riddler, Batman, Scream, and Goliath in a matter of five hours. We had a lot of fun.. can't wait to go back.

Harry Potter Book 7
Well they announced the release date for the Seventh and Final Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. July 21st, 2007. This announcment was kind of bitter sweet, I'm happy it's coming out but then again this is the final, last, seventh book of the Harry Potter series. There will be no more, the story will come to an end. Harry Potter is such a huge part of my life. As time goes by I slowly lose my favorite series, First Star Wars than Buffy, than Lord of the Rings, than Star Trek and now Harry Potter. At least we still have two more movies that should take us till 2010. There are going to be many tears they day this book comes out.

Tom's Birthday Party and Play
My friend Tom turns 38 today and he was having a nice little dinner party. It was Tom's closest friends and we had a nice time then about 2/3 rds through dinner Batman.. yes Batman came walking up the stairs looking for Tom. Now Tom is a huge Batman fan so this was not a huge surprise but when Batman came up the stairs he was followed by a camera and audio crew. This person was dressed as Batman and doing some sort of reality show "My Life as Batman" and Tom's friend Bill just happen to see him out side walking past the resturant and ask if he would come in and surprise Tom. It was soooooo funny. It was a great ending to dinner. Next was Tom's play that he had written. The group from dinner along with a few new people showed up at the theater to watch Tom's short play. It was a lot of fun, there were six short plays and Tom's was one of the better ones. All in all a fun night of celebrating with friends.

Trip up to the Cabin
We have been wanting to get up to the cabin for a while now and since I'm out of work for the moment we figured we would go during the week. For those who don't know my Mom and Step-dad have a small cabin up in Green Valley Lake, near Big Bear. It's the highest city in the San Bernadino mountains so we figured there would be snow this time of year. Well we were right, there wasn't much on the roads but plenty everywhere else. We go to the cabin and I did the normal things like turing on the gas, waterheater, electric and water but when I went the bathroom I found out that the toliet bowl and back half of the toliet were frozen solid, I could not believe it. We spent the next two hours pouring hot water in the toliet and trying to thaw it out so it was usable. We finally managed it and everything seemed to be okay after that. It wasn't the best start of a mini vacation but it turned out to me cold yet relaxing trip. It was also Daisy's first time in the snow and she really enjoyed it, which surprised us since she hates wet grass. So fun was had by all.

Going to the Movies
Well I finally got some free time and decided that I would go see a movie that I have been wanting to see since the middle of Dec. Eragon, it's based on a series of books. Of course it being the beginning of Jan I have heard things about this movie so going in I didn't have very high hopes. I mean I loved the books but heard that they movie is nothing like the book. After seeing it I have to say that I loved that movie. Yes it's a very condensed version of the book but most movies made from books are less detailed then the book. The SFX were AWESOME and the acting was good. Yes the story left out a lot of details but I think if you hadn't read the books you would still understand the overall story. I plan on buying it when it comes out on DVD.So I saw an AWESOME movie (Eragon) and a SO SO movie (Happily N'ever After).

The Golden Compass
Today I was finally able to watch The Golden Compass. I read the books right before the movie and I have to say I thought the first book of the trilogy was really good but had a very depressing ending. The movie on the other hand went very fast and they left out the final three chapters where the really bad stuff happens. I know they filmed it so maybe will get lucky and see it on the DVD since a sequel seems out of the questions due to the low numbers it got at the box office. I enjoyed the movie, I thought the little girl they got to play the lead Lyra was perfect. The special effects were awesome and I will be buying it when it comes out on DVD.
