Last year we had Thanksgiving dinner at our house so this year my brother and sister-in-law decided to have it at their place. Only thing we were responsible for was desserts. So on my way home last night I picked up 2 pumpkin pies and 1 apple pie. Also this morning I made a big batch of rice krispies treats.
Dinner wasn't until 5pm so we left our house around 1pm as it normally takes an hour and a half to get to their place. But of course being Thanksgiving and everyone trying to get out of town we were stuck in traffic for almost 3 hours. We finally arrived at there place a 4.
Dinner was served at 5 and was FANTASTIC, we had Turkey, Ham, Mash Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Corn, Rolls, Cranberry Sauce, Green Bean Casserole and Stuffing.
Lora (my sister-in-law) also invited some of her family to join us and it was great hanging out with them as we don't get to see them very often.
It was a fun night had by all.. we left around 9:30pm and got home at 11pm
PS.. no pictures were taken :( but I did get some video. :)
I'll bet you were starved after sweating the stupid traffic. Sounds like you had a wonderful day. please post the video!
