One positive side to my long commute is I have time to just think about things and while driving home yesterday this idea just hit me. I want to create an internet Radio Station. Don't have a clue how to go about doing this but I figure I have over 100 hours of Knights of the Guild podcast audio, my MASH 4077 Podcast, and several friends with other podcasts which I'm sure they would love for me to play on my station. And I have several friend who compose music that I'm sure they would love for me to promote.
I've really gotten into podcasting and I look forward to deejaying the station, I can record bits and pieces to go between the podcasts, or songs and such.
I'm really pumped about this and when I get pumped I move full steam ahead.. so today I researched a bit about how to go about making an online radio station, of course I'm trying to keep my costs down as much as I can, I still have a load of research to do but me being me and the sale at GoDaddy for URL's I had to go purchase the URL for my new radio station.. planned to use GeekRadio.com, but it's taken already.. so then I thought.. GeekyRadio.com .. and I heard in my head in a radio voice.. You're listening to G double E..K..Y Radio.. has a nice ring to it.. so I purchased the URL for a few years.
Yes I'm already working on 3 podcasts, a new media network and now this radio station.. but I'm loving it.
