Lunch, Dinner & MASH

Had lunch with my buddy/co-worker Sebastian. I brought lunch today (something I'm trying to do more and more) so we went and ate out in the Water Garden, which is the common area in between all the business buildings. It's a beautiful setting and while we were there we had this great view and Sebastian took a picture and sent it to me. I altered the colors a bit but it turned out pretty cool.

After the end of work I needed to head home to finish my MASH podcast as it's due to be released at midnight tonight. But my buddies Dallas and Robert wanted me to come out with them. We've been trying to get together for three weeks but it seems like something always comes up. I declined their invitation but in the end I figured I needed to eat dinner and why not have dinner with my buddies so we headed to a local Islands restaurant and enjoyed a fun meal together for a few hours. Afterwards I dropped off Dallas on my way home and got home around 10ish. I immediately jumped on my MASH podcasts and had it done within a few hours and had it ready to go just in time for it's midnight release.

Cards Against Humanity

Today they released a 2nd expansion pack for the extremely fun Cards Against Humanity. If you haven't heard of this game look it up, if you haven't played this game you're really missing out. It's one of the funniest and most entertaining card games that I have played in a long time. With three people or a large group it's one of the most unpredictable games ever. Find out who among your friends and family are just horrible people.

Of course as soon as I got the noticed about the expansion I went to Amazon and picked up me and my brother a pack. Can't wait for my next party because CAH is a must play.

42 Pixs til my 42nd Birthday - Days 18 & 19

Age 18
Age 19
Two more days have passed and I posted Age 18 & 19 pictures. It's tough going through hundreds of pictures and trying to figure out how old I am in the pix.. unless it's an event  and I can normally remember my age at the time I'm really just guessing. But it's still kind of fun walking down memory lane.

Editing MASH Podcast

Spent the evening pretty much doing what I have been doing every evening for the past month.. working on editing podcasts. This time it was the next episode of my MASH 4077 Podcast which is due to be released on the 1st. It's difficult to motivate myself to edit podcasts after a long day at work but our MASH podcasts have some of the most dedicated and loyal listeners around and I know they look forward to new episodes and I can't disappoint. I was hoping to get it done but atlas I did not. I was just too tired to continue and figure I do have one more night to get it done.

Birthday Gifts Begin

It's not even my birthday month and I got my first birthday present from my buddy Steve.  A few weeks back I tweeted, facebooked and blogged about these Hobbit feet slippers that I just loved.. and I happen to mention that my birthday was coming up. I've had friends tell me that they wouldn't be surprised if I get a few pairs of these, since I'm always hard to buy for, when I say I like something everyone is going to get them.. now I'm not so sure about that but I did get my first pair in the mail today... and I love them. If I do get multiple Hobbit feet, the more the merrier say. They are extremely soft and look great. Thanks Steve C. for getting me these awesome slippers.

Each one of these CompanionCasts will be episode specific and will vary in length depending on how much bts goodness I am able to gather.

Editing Gimpy Life

Tonight I stayed up late editing the final CompanionCast for My Gimpy Life webseries since it's due to be released tomorrow morning. Though season one has ended, I still have a few ideas for some followup episodes before I decide what to do with this podcast. I haven't heard if there is going to be a season two, which if it happens I'll be back from that. But it's a wait and see kind of thing. Maybe I'll release monthly or bi-monthly podcasts every so often updating folks on Teal's life... who knows. I plan to sit down with Teal sometime soon to record a follow up podcast and we can decide where we want the podcast to go next. It's been a fun but short run but I have a feeling this isn't the end of My Gimpy Life Podcast.

42 Pixs til my 42nd Birthday - Days 16 & 17

Here I am at Age 16 and 17. I have a cast on my wrist in the picture because I broke my wrist while dirt biking / ATVing with some buddies of mine. It's also the first time I had alcohol. On the first day of a six day trip I was riding an ATV and going up a hill when it stalled. I pushed the right brake for the front wheel but it didn't work so I pushed the left brake for the back and didn't realize that doing so would make the ATV flip backwards over me and tumble down the hill. At first I thought I sprained my wrist but it soon swelled to triple the size. We wrapped it up and since we were dudes and it was only the first day we didn't give it much thought. I would take pain meds here and there and I didn't go to the hospital until I got home a week later as it was still swollen. The docs looked at the xrays and said.. yep.. it's broken and it's amazing that you survived a week without having it checked. So they put a cast on it for a few weeks until it was healed.

My Age 17 picture is my Senior Prom picture. I went with a really good friend of mine Meisha. She and I had gone to the Winter Formal together the previous year. I remember being a nervous wreak having to ask her to go to the prom with me. It was a fun night of friends and dancing.

Buffy Bro Night

After work I headed over to my buddy Robert's place for our Buffy watch/rewatch. He ordered some yummy Italian food and we started with some episodes from season two. First up was "Inca Mummy Girl" Which when it first started I was like.. oh this isn't one of my favorites but after it was over I actually really enjoyed it. Not sure why my memory had me not liking it. And it also introduced Oz (Seth Green).

Next up was Reptile Boy, again not one that I remember fondly but really enjoyed. I liked Willow in this one.. as she really stuck up for Buffy and how Angle and Giles were treating her... good stuff.

Our final episode for the evening was one of my favorites from Season Two.. Halloween. This one has so much going on. But the big reveal about Giles/Ripper was just enough to get you wondering. And once again Willow in her "sexy" ghost outfit was pretty hot.

Three really enjoyable episodes. I'm so happy that I'm rewatching this series with someone who's seeing it for the first time. They tend to see things or think things that you never did. Can't wait to continue our Buffy watch next week.

I crashed at Roberts place tonight since I had to be up early for work the next day. So after the third episode we called it a night and went to bed.

Playing with Photoshop

This morning I was suppose to work on My Gimpy Life 105 but honestly I've been working on podcasts so much lately I wasn't in the mood and needed a break so instead I worked on something I've been wanting to do for a while. I want to alter some pictures of The Geek Mob's adventures at Vasquez Rocks in our Star Trek uniforms. This is what I came up with.

Saying Goodbye

Got up at 5:00am and left my house at 5:30. Chris was heading back to Montana. :(  Luckily he was flying out of Burbank but still had to be there an hour early and the airport is still an hour away.  Got him there at 6:30am for a 7:30 flight. We said our goodbyes (or as I like to say, "See you later").  And I'm happy to say there were no tears. And honestly I don't know if that's good or bad.

I care for Chris more then I have ever cared for him, and miss him when he's not around but maybe because we talk almost everyday online and we are working on several "secret projects" together he's never far from my thoughts. And with his special dog tags that he gifted me he'll always be close to my heart.

I didn't have to be at work until 10am and it was currently 6:30am. I didn't want to drive home so I asked my buddy Robert if I could crash at his place and of course he said yes. I got to his place at 7:30 and crashed, I was so tired. My alarm went off at 9:30am and I headed into work. I don't know if the nap helped me or hurt me. I was not feeling so great and before the nap was actually feeling okay.

Mondays are always bad here at work and having very little sleep the entire weekend it made it even worse. The lack of sleep was so well worth it for spending as much time I could with Chris. There's always tonight to catch up on some sleep... or not.

I have two podcasts due this week My Gimpy Life Ep 105 and MASH 4077 Podcast #38. So when I got home from work I made some dinner before starting on My Gimpy Life. I got everything strung out and it was 11pm and I couldn't keep my eyes open so I opted to go to bed as I'm no good if I can't thing properly.

Age 15
Today is Age 14 & 15...  When I posted Age 14 I got the most reaction... Yeah I hit puberty.  I still can't get over how much hair I use to have. What I wouldn't give to still have those curly locks.

Guild, Gauntlet & Goodies

Today when I got up Jes, Nicki and Olivia had already left for the set of The Guild season six. Chris and I didn't have to be there as early so we got up at 7am and I made biscuits and gravy for all who stayed over last night. Dallas, Aaron, Rupert, Anthony, Jennifer and Chris. We ate breakfast and hung out for an hour.

I then proceeded to kick everyone out of my house as Chris and I headed down to LA for the shoot. Chris was not extraing today and instead was actually working (paying gig) as a art PA.  I spent the first half of the day interviewing cast members. I then moved on to working on Chris and my "special project" and then went back to interviewing cast members. This was my last day on set though they still have two more days of shooting. I didn't get interviews with many of the main cast members so I'll have to go over to their place in the near future and interview them.

We left set at 7pm and headed east to my brothers. Chris purchased a Gauntlet 2 stand up arcade game. He was going to send it to my house but because I live off a dirt road the delivery truck wasn't able to deliver it to me so instead he had it delivered to my brothers house so we were heading there now as they just drop it off this afternoon. Took about and hour to get to my brothers. Once I was there my nephew Kenobi had to show me his room and all his stuff as Chris got a tour of Mike's house. We headed out to the garage and unpacked the game, plugged it in and started to play. We only had a half hour before we had to head home (had to get Chris to the airport really early the next morning). But Chris, Mike and I had a blast. I don't know what it is about playing a multi player video game but we were going wild and it was AWESOME!!! Can't wait to get this game to my house so we can play it on movie marathon weekends.

On our way home we picked up some Wienerschnitzel for dinner. Again Chris hadn't had Wienerschnitzel since he left CA. Got home around 11pm and went to bed around 11:30pm.. have to be up at 5:30am tomorrow. Spent a fun filled day with my best bud.

Guildies and the GOE's

So Jes, Olivia, Aaron, Chris and myself were up at 5am getting ready and out of the house my 6am. Traffic was unusually light and we got to The Guild set at 7am, we weren't suppose to be there until 7:30am so we went to a local iHop to grab some breakfast. Of course we ordered and it took them about 25 minutes to get our food. We ate quickly and got to set around 7:45am. Kim and Robert were already on set being "stand ins" and when they saw Chris they had looks of surprises on their faces (which was awesome). Once again I can't really say anything about what happen on set but it was a blast. I did get to be an extra again, so will see if I make it on screen.

After the shoot we went to a special dinner for the Guild of Extras. It was at a local Chinese restaurant close to the shoot area. 20 or so extras showed up. Because we were on set until it wrapped Robert, Chris and I didn't get there until 7:30, which was an hour and a half later then the start time. But it was still a blast seeing so many friends that I haven't seen in awhile.

Once again Chris planned this elaborate ruse about not being there and having Dallas skype with him (which was the plan) but when we got there half of the people already knew and in the end Brian made a speech and mentioned those Extra's that couldn't be with us and Chris came out and surprise half of the crowd.

It was a fun dinner, but I did notice that I didn't really mingle. We were spread out over three tables and sitting at my table was most of my Geek Mob folks and I was content. I could have gotten up and walked over to others and talk a bit but I was having a great time and folks were coming over to me to chat. I really do need to be more social.

The night ended with Jes, Olivia, Chris, Dallas, Rupert, Aaron, Anthony, Jennifer and Nicki crashing at my place. We only stayed up about a half hour because half of us had to be on set the next morning super early. But everyone who stayed the night wanted to spend as much time as they could with Chris, even if it meant driving up to my place for a half hour of hang out time... gotta love my friends.

Friday Night Surprise

Tonight I left work and headed to the Burbank airport to pick up one of the most important people in my life, my best bud Chris. We have been planning this surprise for a few weeks, he was extraing/working on The Guild season six but we kept it on the down low. We planned to have a dinner on Saturday night and wanted to surprise The Geek Mob gang.  So I got to the airport around 8:30, parked and waited until around 9:10 for him to exit his plane.

Was very happy to see his smiling face, though he did smash his finger a few hours prior to his plane flight and was in some pain he was in good spirits. We grabbed his bag and headed to my car. We stopped for some dinner at Del Taco (something he misses living in Montana). After dinner we headed back to my place to chill.

About a half hour later our buddy Aaron arrived and Chris wanted to surprise him so he hid in my bedroom and Aaron came in with his stuff and we chatted for about five minutes when Chris just mosey on out of my bedroom and says "Oh, hey Aaron" like it was perfectly normal. The look on Aaron's face was priceless and exactly what Chris was hoping for.

An hour or so later Jes and Olivia arrived at my place. They knew of Chris' arrival and actually came down from San Fransisco to be an extra, as well as hang with Chris.

Once the ladies joined us we hung out for a half hour before calling it a night as we all had to be up at 5am to get on set by 7am.

Star Wars Detours Trailer

So this has been in the works for several years and if you listen to the Forcecast you'll know all about it. Started off as Star Wars Squishies but then was renamed to Star Wars Detours. George asked the creators of Robot Chicken, Seth and Matt to come up with a funny new series. At first we were told this was going to be for pre-schoolers but after seeing this trailer I don't think they are going for that audience anymore.

I literally laughed out loud many times that co-workers asked what was going on and soon everyone in the office was watching and laughing along. I can't wait for this to premiere. If you read the comments on You Tube there is already a ton of hate for this series.. but you know what.. I don't give a crap. Haters gonna hate, especially Star Wars fans, they are some of the worst. All I know is I'll be watching this every week and laughing right along.. Star Wars Fan for Life!!

Age 10

Age 11
Here are two more pictures in my 42 pixs till my 42nd Birthday. This time around it's Day 10 & 11 which means pictures of my at Age 10 and 11.  It's funny how much you can grow in a year. Age 11 I was hanging out at the pool all the time and sporting a great tan. I also broke my arm while at school. I kid tied my shoelace to the monkey bars and the bell rang so I went to jump off and instead of hitting my head I put my arm to break my fall, which it did but I also broke the my forearm at the weakest point. Had to go into the hospital for a night and be put under while the set the bones (it was a compound fracture). Had a cast for six months and it still wasn't healing properly. They threaten to put pins in but lucky for me it finally healed and the cast was removed. Took months for me to regain the full extension of my arm.

Bros & Buffy

Tonight after work I headed over to my buddies (Robert) place to once again watch more Buffy. We finished season 1 last week so we are moving on to season two. We ordered some pizza and began the mini marathon. First up was "When She Was Bad", wasn't a fan of emo Buffy but it was a nice followup to the season one finale. Second we watched Some Assembly Required, not my favorite episode but had some really funny lines. And our third one was School Hard which was the introduction of Spike, who I love. I totally forgot they introduced him so early in the series.

It's a slow but awesome process rewatching this series. At our current rate it will take us until the beginning of next year to finish the series.. but it's going to be a fun adventure.

I Love Hobbits

My friend Tabs posted in my facebook a new item from ThinkGeek that she felt was right up my alley.. well she couldn't be more right. They are Hobbit Plushie feet and they are pretty EPIC!! They would have been an instant buy for me but since my birthday is little over a month away I am trying to restrain myself from buying anything for myself and instead putting it out there that I would like these. If I don't get a pair for my birthday I'm hoping they are still available afterwards. They are only $20 so if you want to buy yourself a set you can get them HERE

Also I've decided today that I am going to attend Comikaze Con which is Stan Lee's new comic convention here in Los Angeles. It's a new con but folks who have attended have said it's a much smaller version of San Diego Comic Con. I plan to cosplay the entire weekend as a Hobbit. I love that outfit and folks seems to really like it. The cool thing is the con only costs $30 for the weekend. If anyone wants to join me please let me know.. Here's the link to the con. http://comikazeexpo.com/

Miss Being in Love

While on set of The Guild this past weekend I saw one of the crew members and there was something about him, I just wanted to go up and caress his cheek (but of course I didn't) and this overwhelming feeling of love came over me. Don't know why, don't know the guy, never saw him before. After that moment of craziness it hit me... I miss being in love.

Of course I miss the physical side of being in a relationship but what I miss even more is the idea of being in love. The look in your partners eyes when they gaze at them as you lie in bed. I miss the touch of their skin against mine. I miss the sheepish smile on their face when you catch them off guard. I miss sharing my ups and downs with them. I miss being their for them when they need a shoulder to cry on. I miss sitting in the living room and geeking out over some sci fi or fantasy show that we both love. I miss holding hands. I miss cuddling. I miss sharing my life with someone. I miss being needed. I miss being loved. I miss being cherished. I miss the idea of this person being the one person you will spend the rest of your life with. I miss being in love.

Fun, Friends and Fans

Today was back on set for another long but super fun day on set of Season Six of The Guild. Once again as like all set visits I have to be up super early. This time we had Dallas, Nicki and Jen staying with me and Brian who had to leave a bit before us. The drama stated early with Nicki locking her keys in her car, but with a little ingenuity Dallas had that door open in 10 minutes.

We packed up our cars and headed to set. Once again Jen was driving with Nicki and Dallas was with me. Dallas and I arrived with no real issues, took about an hour and 10 minutes to get there but when we did there was no sign of Nicki or Jen and I thought I saw them on the side of the freeway pulled over by a highway patrol officer.. and sure enough when the arrived about 20 minutes later that was the case. Nicki and her lead foot were finally caught :)

The rest of the day flew by. I tired to get as many interviews in as I could in between me being on set as an extra. It was a hot and tiring day but in the end everyone had a great time and we made some pretty amazing webseries. Can't wait to see this all cut together.. season six is going to be pretty epic.

Afterwards everyone was tried after two days of these really long days so we opted to not do dinner and just go home. First I had to drop off Dallas and then Jen (who drove with me) and I picked up some El Pollo Loco, went back to my place and watched and episode of Wipeout while enjoy some crazy chicken. Once that was over it was a little after 9:30pm and Jen headed home. As soon as she left I went to bed from some much needed rest.

It was a great weekend but I think working Mon - Friday, podcasting at night and working the Guild Saturday and Sunday it's taking it toll on me. Luckily it only lasts until the end of this month and then I'll have my weekends back again.

On Set of The Guild

This is my second weekend on set of Season Six of The Guild.  My friend Nicki spent the night as well as Brian since both were going to set during the weekend and I actually live closer to set then both of them. Brian was crew and had to be up super early but Nicki and I, though had an early call time it wasn't as early as Brian's. We drove to set together and again I can't really say anything as to what happen. I think it's okay if I say that I was an extra once again. I mean I've been an extra in Seasons 2, 3, 4, 5 and now 6. Got to interview some folks and over all had a great time.

Afterwards a group (mostly Geek Mob) went out to a local Denny's for some much needed dinner. Had a larger group heading back to my place tonight. Nicki and Brian who were already staying with me and now Jen and Dallas were crashing at my place as well. Brian has to stay on set and do some more work so after dinner Jen and Nicki headed to my place and Dallas drove with me. But before we could head home I had to drop by his place for him to pick up some stuff.  His place isn't exactly in the direction of my place, but he is car-less and I figured since he was coming back to set the next day he might as well crash with us and then come back down with us tomorrow.

When I made the offer I wasn't so tired but once the shoot day was over and we had just had some dinner I was extremely tired and just wanted to get home so I wasn't in the best of moods. But me being me I keep my word and headed to Dallas' place. No problem getting there and it took only minutes for him to pack up and be back to my jeep.  We headed to the freeway and of course the on ramp to the freeway was closed so I had to go to the next one and my gps took me some wacky way and I wound up trying to make a left turn with no light and tons of cross traffic... needless to say that this didn't help my mood. Finally a nice guy actually allowed me pull in front of him and make my turn. Got on the freeway and it was a clear shot home. But the funny thing is Jen and Nicki actually took the wrong freeway and went about 15 minutes out of their way before turning around and getting on the right freeway. So they only got home about 20 minutes before us.

I got everyone settled in to where they were going to sleep and went to bed.. had to be up early for another fun shoot day.

Adventures on the 405

A few hours before going home today my AE asked if I took the 405 home because there was a jacked knife big rig that spilled it's gas all over the freeway and they have closed the the north bound side completely. It was going to take hours to clean up and after the crazy week I actually had the opportunity to get of work a bit early.  I debated on just waiting here at work until it opened back up or braving it and trying to find an alternate route.

Well I wanted to go home and do nothing so I opted to try and find another route. I started driving to Beverly Glen, which goes through the Hollywood hills and exit into the valley where I could pick up another freeway to get home. Well it took me about a half hour just to get to Beverly Glen and when I go there it looked like everyone had the same idea and it was bumper to bumper. I sat there for about five minutes before I gave up and turned around. Headed down Santa Monica Blvd and activated my GPS hoping to find another way. I noticed that a few of the side streets were not crowded and I could still get to Beverly Glen from a different direction. That planned worked and I got to Beverly Glen in no time. Started to head up the hill and it was great, there was traffic but it wasn't bumper to bumper until I got towards the peak of the hill and then it was dead stop. I sat there in traffic for about an hour going only a few miles. I was tired and frustrated as this was my one day when I had nothing planned and I could just go home and chill.

Making a long story, less long. I got over the hill, made my way to the 101 to the 405 (just after the closure), hit the 5 then the 14 and finally got home around 9:30pm. Took me 2 1/2 hours to get home tonight. Only stayed up an hour and watched some TV before calling it a night and just wanting to end this day.

Academic Podcasts

About a year ago I found this fantastic Lord of the Rings podcast from the Tolkien Professor. His name is Corey Olson and he's a professor at Washington Collage and teaches courses about J.R.R. Tolkien. He started recording his classes and putting up as a podcast, then he started actually doing podcasts discussing The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, Silmarillion and other Tolkien works. I found his discussions fascinating. I'm a huge LOTR/Hobbit/Tolkien fan and the ideas he discussed were amazing. He's been doing the podcast for years and had plenty of back logged shows for me to listen to. I'm currently caught up and listening to his current podcasts, Riddles in the Dark and Silmarillion discussion. Both are entertaining and so much fun. If you're a big Tolkien fan you should be listening to his podcasts.. they are truly amazing, informative and so entertaining.  You can check out his website HERE And you can find his whole slew of podcasts on itunes HERE

Recently, like two days ago I heard about a Harry Potter Academic podcast called Mugglenet Academia. I read the description and thought this would be right up my alley. It's an adult and very academic conversation about Harry Potter and all the elements surrounding it. I immediately downloaded the nine episodes released so far and listen to the first episode today on my way into work... OMG I love it. The professors and expert on the podcast are extremely smart and I love hearing their take on Potter. They bring up things I would have never of thought of. I haven't listen to this podcast as much as I have listen to the Tolkien one but just after half of the first episode I'm sold. I can't wait to hear more. You can download it here from itunes HERE

I love hearing different perspectives and this level of conversations for two of my most beloved literature works of art.

Here it is.. the premiere episode of My Gimpy Life CompanionCast

This CompanionCast covers Season 1 Episode 3 - Inspirational

If you haven't seen the episode yet, You can see it HERE

My CompanionCasts for The Guild were a huge hit so when Teal was putting together My Gimpy Life she asked if I would do some for her series and of course I said yes!!

I was on set almost everyday while they shot Season 1. As actors and crew were finished with scenes I would try and speak to them. Get some inside info about the scene they just shot. I also interview Teal Sherer (creator/star) and Sean Becker about the directing. Each one of these CompanionCasts will be episode specific and will vary in length depending on how much bts goodness I am able to gather.

In this CompanionCast I interview Teal Sherer, Sean Becker, Leah Mann, Gabe Uhr & Kristin Ingrim,

I hope you enjoy a look behind the scenes of Season 1 Episode 3 - Inspirational

Editing Podcasts... Again

Will this ever end.. feels like I have come home after work for the past month and have worked on a podcast. I know it's not true but sometimes it feels that way. Today I had to edit a new My Gimpy Life CompanionCast since the webisode came out a few days ago and I promised to released the new podcasts a few days after the webisode. So I got home around 9pm and stayed up until about midnight working on episode 103. Luckily for me there weren't a lot of interviews because this episode was shot a few years ago and I didn't know I would be doing the podcast for it.

As of right now I'm all caught up on my podcasts.. actually that's not true because I still need to release a Confessions of a Fanboy, currently a month behind, but unfortunately the only person I have interviewed is my friend Jen but I'm missing one element of that interview and can't release it yet.

I'm also still in the process of starting my brand new podcast The Geek Roundtable.. so many podcasts, so little time. The good thing is I love podcasting and thought it's a very time consuming hobby I wouldn't change it for anything.

42 Pixs til my 42nd Birthday - Day 2 & 3

Day 2 - Age 2
Day 3 - Age 3
Here's my picture for Day 2  and Day 3 of my 42 Pixs til my 42nd Birthday. I'm having a lot of fun searching through old photos trying to figure out how old I look in them. Lot's of them are just guessing at the age. It's tough for me to tell because I'm a little guy.

Long Long Day

Today was such a long day.. longest I've ever had at this new gig. Got up around 6:30, worked on my MASH podcast a bit to finish it up as it was being released at midnight tonight. Got into work around 10:30  because I was expecting a late night.. just not as late as it went. It wasn't stressful or hard work it was just alot of waiting. We were sending out our very first episode of this new series I'm working on to the network and it had to be perfect. We were told we would be getting the cut at 9pm but instead we didn't get it until midnight and then it took a few hours to process and upload.

I was beyond tired when I finally headed home and just as my luck would have it they were doing some construction on the 405 (which isn't new, they been doing work on it for years) but the bad part was they had stopped traffic for some reason and I sat there for 20 minutes in dead stop traffic. I finally got home around 2:30am but couldn't go to sleep until the email with the link to the cut was sent to me and I could send it to the network brass. That arrived at 3am and I forwarded the email and went to bed as I needed to be back to work by 10:30 for a meeting.

Thank goodness this isn't the norm..

42 Pixs til my 42nd Birthday

Here's my first picture... Day 1 - Age 1
Today is 42 days from my 42nd birthday. My bestie Jes was going to do 30 pictures until her 30th birthday and I loved the idea...  but she never started it. So now that my birthday is coming up I wanted to do something similar for my 42nd birthday. But since I already did a picture of day in May I wanted to do something different and it hit me.. why not post a picture a day for 42 days but instead of them being everyday pictures I'll do pictures of me growing up. So Day 1 would be Age 1, Day 2, Age 2 and so on.

I have quite a few pictures of me as a baby/kid but I don't know my exact age in these pictures but I'm going to do my best to try and find ones that represent the age with the day. I think this can be a fun project. Everyone seemed to like my last Pic a Day in May so I hope folks enjoy watching me grow up into the man I am today.

Knights of the Guild #43

Tonight after I got back from the Guild set I sat down to finish my next Knights of the Guild podcast. I did some interviews last week after The Guild cast did their read thru for Season Six. Of course I couldn't ask specific questions about season six but I could get there thoughts on coming back for it.

So here is my quick interviews with Sandeep Parikh, Amy Okuda, Brett Sheridan, Robin Thoresn, Vince Caso, Kim Evey and Felicia Day talking about Season Six of The Guild

Hanging with My Guild

Today is day 3 of The Guild Season Six and my second day on set. Once again we are at Felicia's house shooting with the same three actors who were here yesterday as well as one new one later in the day.

Once again I spent the majority of my day in the production offices with visits to the set to watch hilarious scenes unfold. But unlike yesterday I did manage to get some interviews for my future companioncast. I did them in the production offices and it was so loud but from comments in the past people tend to like all the chaos happening behind the scenes.

Had lots of fun in the offices today.. as the day progress the jokes get more and more crass. I got to chat with Felicia during lunch which is always fun.

In the Geek and Sundry office there are loads of Guild DVD's and comic books and Felicia was kind enough to let me do a bit of "shopping" since I still hadn't gotten the DVD of Season 5 of The Guild or the latest Fawkes comic book. I also got both trade paper backs.. woo hoo.

So it was another fun and productive day on set of The Guild season six. I won't be back to set until next weekend but I'm expecting it to be a ton of fun with I return.
